Women Empowerment Programs

In addition to our ECD program, OYOH-IN is deeply committed to improving the socio-economic status of women in the Makindye division of Kampala district. Our Women Empowerment programs address the unique challenges faced by vulnerable women in the community.

We offer the following activities to support their growth and success:
Microfinance Initiatives through the REFINE Project
We provide comprehensive financial literacy training, creating linkages to financial institutions to facilitate access to microloans, and offering ongoing business management support. Through this initiative, we empower women to start and expand their small businesses, fostering greater financial independence and resilience.
Leadership and Advocacy
OYOH-IN believes in the power of women's voices. We empower women to become leaders in their communities, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to advocate for their rights and address social issues that affect them. We aim to create a platform for their voices to be heard and bring about meaningful change.
Skills Training:
Our vocational training programs focus on providing women with valuable skills in fields such as tailoring and craft-making. These income-generating skills enable women to support themselves and their families, opening up opportunities for economic growth and improved quality of life.
